A Natural Escape: Fortescue Bay Forest Appreciation Skills with Giant Tree Expeditions

October 12 @ 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

An educational forest skills intensive, conducted during a slow walk along the beautiful, forested coastline at Fortescue Bay.

We’ll learn about the unique landscapes and forests of Tasmania, and how the Tasman Peninsula is one of the geographically most extreme points on Earth.

We’ll have an introduction to the forest types and growth patterns of our famous trees, and specifically target our micro-expedition to visit one of the very southernmost groves of conifer trees on Earth.

Easy trail walking but some steps, bushwalking equipment required.

Cost: $120 + booking fee and National Parks Pass*
