Council is seeking a suitably experienced person for the position of Accounts and Customer Service Officer (up to 24 hours per week).
This position will be responsible for the preparation of purchase orders, payment requests, payment of all invoices, as well as, debt recovery. This position will assist the Rates Officer will rates duties, including the generation of Section 132 property certificates and general rates enquiries.
This role will also assist with customer service duties, such as, phone and front counter enquiries, receipting of payments, dog registrations and customer requests for maintenance.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated with above average verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills with well developed negotiation skills. A demonstrated practical working knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages is essential, a current driver’s licence is desirable for this position.
