PUBLIC QUESTION TIME
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Council will hold Ordinary Council Meetings at the Council Chambers, with Elected Members present, however, meetings will remain closed to the public until further notice. If you would like to speak to an item on the Agenda or ask a question, you can do so by emailing a statement/question to the General Manager – [email protected] . If accepted by the Chair, your statement/question will be read aloud at the meeting, be answered or taken on notice. If your Question is not accepted, reasons will be given accordingly.
ALL statements or questions must be received by 5.00pm on Tuesday 21 July 2020 with your name, address and a contact telephone number being provided.

Tasman Councils ordinary monthly Council meetings have been scheduled for the fourth Wednesday of every month. During daylight saving months all Council meetings commence at 5:30pm and are located at the Council Chambers, 1713 Main Road, Nubeena, Council Meetings held during the colder months and not daylight savings will commence at 1:00pm. All agendas are available four days prior to the Council meeting.

Tasman Council will be holding their Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 9th December 2020, commencing at 5:30pm at the Council Chambers. The Ordinary Council Meeting will follow directly after the AGM.
Any date, time or location change to any council meeting will be advertised in the Mercury newspaper and in the Tasman Gazette.
Members of the public may address the Council during Public Question Time. In accordance with Regulation 31 of the Local Government (Meeting Procedures) Regulations 2015, Council will conduct a Public Question Time. The intention is to provide the public with an opportunity to come and ask a question directly to Council, information provided by Council to the public is not to be debated during the meeting.
