Family, Child & Youth Health

 

Provides information, assistance and support through individual consultation and health promotion for the well-being of children's health.

 

Tuesday on a fortnightly basis.

 

Mental Health Worker (DHHS)

 

A service that is provided to residents over 18 years and offer a confidential counselling, support and referral for mental health issues.

 

Monday on a weekly basis.

Physiotherapy (DHHS)

 

Provides advice on continence, neurological and musculo-skeletal problems, educational sessions, advice on management of back pain, arthritis, keeping fit and avoiding osteoporosis.

 

Tuesday and Thursday on a weekly basis

Podiatry (DHHS)

 

The service can assist people with medical conditions concerning their feet. The service also includes diabetic assessments and biomechanical assessments as well as other general treatments.

A private service provided by Tim Pain. The service provides general and sports podiatry, orthotic therapy, diabetic foot assessments and children's feet assessments.

A private service provided by Total Eyecare. This service offers eye examinations, glaucoma testing, spectacles, contact lenses, adjustments and repairs for frames and advice on eye irritations, sore eyes and headaches.
