Building Amnesty 2009

Thank you for your interest in the Building Amnesty 2009. As outlined in the Building Amnesty brochure, this is for the penalty prescribed under the Building Act 2000 for undertaking the work only, and not an exemption for making the relevant applications. The following applications may be required in order to legalise the building work:-
- Planning Permit Application
- Building Permit Application
- Plumbing Permit Application
- Special Plumbing Permit Application
Please download the relevant application forms and brochures to assist you in preparing your application. Please return the application form and a copy of your Certificate of Title to Council before 31 December 2009. Your application must be accompanied by a payment of $250 which will cover a Building and Plumbing Inspection by Council.
Upon receipt of your application Council officers will contact you to arrange an inspection of your property to make an evaluation of the work you are declaring, and what is required to legalise the structure.
