Retrospective Approval
Introduction
Have you undertaken building work without council approval? If so, you need to make retrospective applications to council in accordance with the building act 2000. The relevant application forms are listed below.
Permit to Proceed
This permit is required if Council have issued a Building Notice or Building Order, and building work is not yet complete. Your Building Surveyor will issue a Certificate to Proceed prior to lodgement with Council
Permit of Substantial Compliance
This permit is required if Council have issued a Building Notice or Building Order and building work has been completed. Prior to lodgement with Council, your Building Surveyor will issue a Certificate of Substantial Compliance
