LOCAL TELEVISION RECEPTION - ANALOG TO DIGITAL
As you may be aware, as of 9th April 2013, all analog television Free-to-Air transmitters will be switched off and only digital Free-to-Air will be available. Tasman Council currently has two TV transmitting towers, one at Eaglehawk Neck and the other at Port Arthur. These towers will be ineffective as of the above date.
If you currently receive TV transmission from either of these towers you may be eligible for government funding to improve your future television reception.
