Hiring Council Facilities

All hirers of any council owed facility, halls and recreation grounds, must have public liability insurance.

Tasman Council Public Liability Insurance is only available for non- sporting groups (Fee 2018/19 for all facilities $27.00)

All facilities, halls and recreation grounds require a deposit to be paid before hire of the facilities. This will be returned once the facility has been inspected after the event.

Security deposit fee 2018/19 for all facilities $150.00 (no alcohol) and $300.00 (with alcohol).  This deposit is returned once the facility has been inspected by Council and no damage was found.  If damaged has occurred, repairs and/or cleaning costs will be taken from the security deposit.
